Sonoma County Food and Drinks That Ship
While Sonoma County is known for wine, there are so many other great food and drink producers across the region. Chocolate, check. Coffee, check. Cheese, check. Olive oil, check. But though travel travel recently took a pause, you can still get a taste of Sonoma County at home thanks to Sonoma County food and drink makers that are shipping.
For other craft food and drink makers that are shipping, see our recent posts below.
Beer
If you live in California, and are quick on the draw, you could have Pliny the Elder shipped to your door. Russian River Brewing has been announcing on Instagram every Friday the beers they have available to ship to California residents. You’ll have to be quick, however, since they sell out fast.
Other breweries that are shipping across California include Crooked Goat, Moonlight Brewing, HenHouse, and many others.
Coffee
Sonoma County is dotted with charming coffee shops offering high quality coffee they’ve sourced from around the world. Flying Goat Coffee has a selection of single origin coffee that you can buy on their website. They also have a variety of coffee subscriptions.
Longtime Sonoma County coffee brand, Wolf Coffee, also has a selection of both coffees and coffee subscriptions for sale on their website. Free shipping is available on orders over $39. Elsewhere, Acre Coffee, has a subscription service that makes it easy to choose your beans, frequency, and how long you want the subscription. They are currently offering 10% off your first purchase.
For those who are tea drinkers, there’s Russian River Tea. Located in Healdsburg, Russian River Tea has a wide selection of tea available for purchase. They are currently offering free shipping on all domestic orders.
Olive Oil
Many Sonoma County wineries are shipping throughout California, and beyond, which we shared in this recent blog post. DaVero, however, is one of numerous wineries that are selling other products that come from their farms, like olive oil, which they grow on their property. Other products include vinegar, preserves, and tomato sauce. Order on their website here.
Other wineries that are shipping olive oil include Trattore Farms in the Dry Creek Valley and B.R. Cohn in the Sonoma Valley.
Cheese
Sonoma County has a lot of cheesemakers, as evidenced in our recent post on Sonoma County wine/cheese pairings. And some of Sonoma County’s cheesemakers are shipping, such as Petaluma Creamery. Petaluma Creamery has a wide selection of organic cheeses that can be purchased on their website. Cheese curds, Smoked Monterey Jack, aged cheddar, and mozzarella are just a few of the available products.
William Cofield Cheesemakers, located at The Barlow, specializes in British cheesemaking. Among the cheeses for sale on their website is the flagship cheddar, McKinley Extra Aged, as well as Bodega Blue and Willie’s fresh cheese curds.

Salumerias
What’s a cheese plate without a charcuterie board to go with it? Journeyman Meat Company, located in Healdsburg, comes from the Seghesio family, who has been making wine in Sonoma County for generations. Their online salumeria has a selection of individual salumi and package sets. They also have a salumi club.
Sebastopol’s Black Pig Meat Company, from Chefs Duskie Estes and John Stewart, has a few different food items for sale online, including bacon, and their bacon membership club. Some more unique products include their bacon toffee lollipops and peanut butter cups.
Bakeries
Last, but certainly not least, are Sonoma County’s bakeries, many of which have unique offerings. Cookie Take A Bite, for example, located in Santa Rosa, has a cookie club. Pick a subscription length on their website, and they’ll send you different cookies every month. Elsewhere, Sift, which is a dessert bar in Santa Rosa, is shipping their wide selection of products nationwide. Choose items from their dessert menu like the Samoa Cupcake, churro macaron, birthday party cake, and whoopie cookies.
Finally, Big Bottom Market, located in Guerneville, is known for their biscuits, which was chosen by Oprah as one of her favorite things. Big Bottom Market’s biscuit mix, and other food items, are available in their Etsy outpost. Big Bottom Market’s owner, Michael Volpatt, recently published a book, Cooking In Place, which was inspired by daily live cooking shows he’s done over the course of the last two months.
