Sonoma County Wine Month

April is the Sonoma County Wine Month. Visit sonomawine.com for unique special offers, events, wine pairings and wine accolades, all in celebration of Sonoma County wine from the Sonoma County Vintners.
Barrel Tasting on the Wine Road

Northern Sonoma County boasts more than 100 wineries, many of which come together each year to throw spectacular Barrel Tasting gatherings over a beautiful spring weekend. It’s an opportunity to meet winemakers, learn a bit about the winemaking process, buy “futures” of the wines you sample directly from the barrel, and explore the beautiful Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys.
California Artisan Cheese Festival
California’s premier cheese festival, the California Artisan Cheese Festival is a gala celebration produced by experts and educators from the world of artisan cheese. This three-day festival offers attendees a wealth of informative and educational events along with opportunities to meet the Golden State’s cheesemaking community and to enjoy the full range of its products. Festivities include farm and producer tours across Sonoma County; seminars hosted by local winery and brewery tasting rooms; an annual Cheese Crawl at The Barlow in Sebastopol; and a grand finale tasting event at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. Cheese lovers of all experience levels are welcome and can expect to be delighted.
Pliny Release
Every spring, the release of Pliny the Younger is such a big deal that fans line up in front of Russian River Brewing Company in Santa Rosa and its location in Windsor, hoping to get a sample of the coveted, limited-production ale. Find out what the buzz is all about.
Passport to Dry Creek Valley

Passport to Dry Creek Valley welcomes visitors to more than 30 wineries throughout one of Sonoma County’s most famous wine regions. Named California’s Friendliest Wine Festival, you’ll enjoy stellar wine and food pairings, and views that are out of this world.
Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience

Farmers, growers, winemakers, chefs — they’ll all be showing off the food and wine that’s made in Sonoma County during this event. Part of the proceeds from the Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience go to a trio of local nonprofits.
Pink Sonoma Rosé Wine Festival
Think pink and celebrate the season of Rosé wines at Out In The Vineyard’s annual festival. Enjoy an afternoon of delightful Rosé tastings from more tjam two dozen wineries. Come dressed to impress in your brightest pink ensemble. Don’t miss out on this fun celebration of wine, food, music, and more with the community!
