Places to Eat in Cloverdale
Once known mainly for its roadside dining for motorists heading to or from the San Francisco Bay Area on Highway 101, today the town of Cloverdale in northern Sonoma County offers a deliciously eclectic variety of restaurants and eateries.
Remnants of Cloverdale’s past as a stop on the Redwood Highway still exist, like Pick’s Drive-In, a classic old-time burger stand on the southern of edge of downtown. It originally opened as a Reed & Bell Root Beer Refreshery during Prohibition in 1923, so Pick’s is part of Cloverdale’s past and present. As the name implies, you can drive your car there, too, but the old-time burger stand and shake shack has stools just a few steps from the sidewalk, and the burgers and the shakes can’t be beat.
Here’s a brief list of more examples of the wonderful variety of dining options in this northern Wine Country town.
101 Thai Way offers traditional Thai favorites like Pad Thai, and Chicken Satay, seafood dishes, and curries.
El Milagro focuses on Mexican cuisine highlighting the region’s guisados (stews or braised dishes and stir-fries).
MoE’s Eagle’s Nest Deli is a local favorite that serves up great sandwiches with fresh ingredients and paninis.
Papa’s Pizza Cafe is a family-owned pizza parlor with an upscale feel, 10 taps, and delicious pizzas and salads.

World Famous Hamburger Ranch & Bar-B-Que is pretty self-explanatory, but in case you need a refresher, on offer are burgers, which are world-famous (just see the sign) and barbecue. Try the pulled pork.
Zini’s Diner, famous for its Swedish pancakes, serves comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
