Open since 1972, Cinnabar presents six professional shows each year, an eclectic mix of musicals, drama, comedy, a cabaret show, and opera. Focused on diversity, inclusion, and theater education, Cinnabar also hosts three Young Repertory main-stage shows per year.

Rohnert Park

This two-stage venue (with 550 and 125 seats, respectively) is home to the Spreckels Theatre Company, which presents Broadway musicals and plays with state-of-the-art lighting and sound, authentic costumes, awe-inspiring scenery, and cutting-edge theatrical technology, combining live actors and musicians with video and still images.

Transcendence Theatre

Set primarily within the open-air ruins of the winery in Jack London State Historic Park, this nonprofit arts organization specializes in producing high-caliber Broadway concerts—collectively called “Broadway Under the Stars”—with artists who have professional experience on Broadway, film, and television.

Santa Rosa

This local theater company’s 10-show season includes musicals, thought-provoking plays, and classic comedies. Set in downtown Santa Rosa’s Railroad Square, it serves as a hub for theater education and community in Sonoma County. 

Luther Burbank Center for the Arts

Founded in 1981, this is Sonoma County’s premier arts and events center, and is ranked among world’s top 100 performing arts presenters. In addition to theater productions, performances here include music, dance, comedy, family programming, and renowned speaker events. The Center also serves more than 50,000 children and adults annually through its Education Through the Arts programs.

Healdsburg

Raven Performing Arts Theater

One block off the Healdsburg Plaza, the 443-seat Raven inhabits a former movie theater built in 1949 that’s since received a state-of-the-art renovation. More than 130 productions happen each year at this community theater and school, including original plays, the zany Mr. Healdsburg Pageant, Dancing with the Stars at the Raven, and other only-in-Sonoma-County events.

Cloverdale

Each theatrical play at this 99-seat venue community venue is underwritten by local patrons and individual donations, and the actors, directors, set makers, costume designers, and makeup teams work mostly for the love of the craft.  Productions (both live and virtual) include dramas, comedies, musicals, and family-friendly holiday events.  

Sebastopol

Rio Nido

Pegasus Theater Company
