15th Annual Trashion Fashion Runway Show

Outrageous head-to-toe designs, made from recycled materials and found objects, will once again walk the runway. Handmade by community members of all ages who are ready to take on the challenge of turning trash into wearable art.

Over 40 artists will design fashions from recycled, unconventional materials. Among those designers is the event’s founder, Margaret Hatcher, who was recently named 2025 Treasure Artist of the Year by the City of Sonoma Cultural and Fine Arts Commission. Hatcher’s design is sure to be a show stopper, and this year’s event will also bring participants weaving Sonoma International Film Festival lanyards, crocheting soda pop tops, and doing something curious with used power cords.

The 15th Annual Trashion Fashion Runway Show will be live and in person on Saturday, April 19, at the Sonoma Veterans Memorial Hall. There will be a 2 p.m. matinée and a 5 p.m. evening show curated by Isa Jacoby. Following the 5 p.m. show, there will be a post-show reception.
