Chowder Day on the Sonoma Coast

Come celebrate Chowder Day 2024 on the beautiful Sonoma Coast, a scrumptious event filled with mouthwatering chowders and coastal vibes!

Join us for a fun day in the Bodega Bay Area sampling chowder at the numerous restaurants. This is a driving event around the towns allowing you to enjoy our beautiful area. It is not a walking event. This is a Fundraiser for the various charities, scholarships, and supporting Bodega Bay area businesses.

Chowder Day event is January 27, 2024. Tasting begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. There are two check-in locations where you will receive your map, commemorative spoon and a wristband to verify your eligibility to taste at each location. Check-in locations will be at the Rocker Oysterfeller's Restaurant, 14415 Highway One, Valley Ford CA 94972 and at the SONOMA COAST VISITOR CENTER, 913 Highway 1, Bodega Bay CA 94923.

You may taste chowder at each of the participating restaurants in any order you like.

PRIZES

• Instagram Challenge: Post a picture/selfie (by 3pm, Sat) on Instagram with #BBChowderDay2024, and make sure your favorite restaurant theme is clearly shown in the background. You will automatically be entered into a drawing for a prize. The winner will be notified around 5pm Saturday evening! We love group photos!

• Stamped Map: Return your map (with all locations stamped) to the Sonoma Coast Visitor Center at 913 Highway 1, by 4pm or at your last tasting location. You will be automatically entered into a drawing. Winners will be notified after 5pm Saturday evening by phone and/or email. Be sure to print your contact information clearly.
