The Bioluminescent Plankton is a seasonal phenomenon that lights up everything moving on or in the Russian River Estuary water.

We start near sunset and view the River and Coastal Environments from the protected estuary. As the night sky darkens the glow begins. Discover a wealth of wildlife not easily visible during the day.  Experience viewing wildlife viewing us from the water's depths. Harbor Seals, schools of fish, and clouds of shrimp are just of few of the wildlife that glow and entertain us.

We are the original provider of Bioluminescent Night Tours in Sonoma County providing "Certified Safety" and Community Education Interpretation on the water. Amazingly our estuary glow can be stronger and crisper than other locations.
