Grounded in Nature: A Mindful Walk

Reconnect with nature and nurture your physical, mental, and emotional well-being through the calming practice of a guided Mindful Walk. Set in the serene beauty of Jack London State Historic Park, this refreshing experience is the perfect way to rejuvenate mind and body. The experience begins with a relaxed loop around Jack London’s Beauty Ranch, to learn the basics of Walking Meditation. Guide Jeff Falconer will give a brief introduction to the practice, followed by a grounding meditation to center and prepare for the walk ahead. For those who wish to delve deeper, a moderate four-mile hike to the Ancient Redwood will follow.

Walking Meditation has been a healing practice for centuries, embraced by spiritual traditions around the world, as well as those simply seeking inner peace. By combining the everyday act of walking with awareness of the breath, body, and surroundings, this mindful practice offers an immediate sense of calm and a deeper connection to nature.
