This magnificent 535-acre nature sanctuary in Sonoma County features diverse oak woodlands, mixed evergreen forest, riparian and chaparral ecosystems and is known for its amazing spring wildflower displays.
Bouverie Preserve is home to a rich and distinct combination of plants and animals, including more than 130 species of birds, 350 species of flowering plants, and numerous large mammals such as the bobcat, gray fox and coyote.
The Bouverie Preserve offers access to the public via Guided Nature Walks and the Bouverie Backyard Naturalist Series. Reservations are required for all Bouverie walks, workshops and seminars. Visit the website to make a reservation. Unscheduled, self-guided hiking is not allowed on the preserve.
