Medlock Ames Winery at Bell Mountain Ranch

13414 Chalk Hill Road
Healdsburg, CA 95448
Description

Medlock Ames is a family-owned estate vineyard and winery at Bell Mountain Ranch which sits at the intersection of where the southeast corner of Alexander Valley and Russian River Valley meet. Best friends Chris Medlock James and Ames Morison, started in 1998 with a goal to produce delicious wines in an ethical and sustainable fashion.

Bell Mountain has 338 acres at the ranch with 55 acres of vineyards, 800 olive trees, a market garden and a wildlife corridor extending across the remaining untouched forest. The entire property is farmed organically with no insecticides, chemical fertilizers, or herbicides while the winery is solar-powered.

Medlock Ames focuses on Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux blends while also producing Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Syrah. We invite you to visit Bell Mountain Ranch for a tour of our vineyards while tasting their small production wines and enjoying the majestic views. Or swing by our tasting room in the heart of Alexander Valley for an artisan cheese and wine pairing.
