Description
Piala Restaurant and Wine Bar is inspired by our travels to the country of Georgia, the birthplace of winemaking over 8,000 years ago. Today, they make wine with the same methods as they did long ago, by filling up Qvevri (traditional clay pots) with grapes, and grapes only – and burying the Qvevri in the ground where the fermentation process takes place. Our admiration of the ancestral methods is our core inspiration for the food, wine, and customer experience at Piala.
