Stormy’s restaurant is one of the oldest roadhouses in the West, established in 1854. We, the Cramer family, have owned the establishment the longest, since 1961. Ellen Cramer, “Stormy” moved from Berkeley with her son Roger and purchased the building in 1961. At the time she ran it as a bar that served sandwiches and snacks. In the early 1970’s her son Roger turned the business into a steakhouse. Today with his wife Carolyn and daughter Taylor Marie have continued the tradition of serving house aged steaks and prime rib along with seafood, chicken and house specialty dishes. All dinners are served family style with Cramer’s clam chowder, garden salad with house dressing, potato, vegetable and french bread. We also have a full bar with premium well, eight rotating beers on tap and large wood burning fireplace in the bar, to warm you up on those stormy nights.
